Hollow fiber dialyzer
The dialyzer is a polyethersulfone hollow fiber hemodialyzer, model OCI-HD180L. It is low flux. The membrane area is 1.8 m². The label states a maximum transmembrane pressure of 500 mmHg, which is 66.5 kPa. It is for use only with a dialysis machine that controls ultrafiltration.
It is sterilised with ethylene oxide. It is single use, and it is not to be resterilised. Storage is dry, ventilated, and clean, in non-corrosive air, at 0–40°C, with relative humidity up to 80%. The dialyzer label prints an M.R.P. of Rs. 500.
Fistula needle sets
The fistula needles are sterile arteriovenous fistula needle sets with a rotated wing, for hemodialysis blood access. The range is 16G and 17G, and each gauge is made in 25 mm and 32 mm needle lengths. That is four labelled sets: OCI-16G in 25 mm and 32 mm, and OCI-17G in 25 mm and 32 mm.
They are sterile and single use. Storage is dry and ventilated, at 0–40°C. A manufacture date, expiry date, or lot number on a sample label is sample print. It does not limit the lots SHI can quote.
Blood tubing set
The blood tubing set is a sterile hemodialysis blood tubing set, model OCI-BL-HDA(a1-b1-c1-d1). The pump segment has an inside diameter of 9.8 mm. The blood volume is 160 mL. The arterial line is red and the venous line is blue. It is sterile, pyrogen-free, sterilised with ethylene oxide, and single use. The stated shelf life is three years.
It is not for a heart-lung machine, and it is not for the infusion of a liposoluble liquid or medicine. The label allows a maximum positive pressure of 66.5 kPa and a maximum negative pressure of −66.5 kPa. The recommended working range is −50 kPa to +50 kPa. Blood flow may differ from the machine display by less than 10%. The maximum needle size named on the label is 21G. Some parts that contact blood are PVC containing DEHP.
Storage is dry, at 0–40°C, and the set is not to be squeezed. The tubing label prints an M.R.P. of Rs. 1000. A lot or expiry on sample artwork is print data from that artwork.
